In this newsletter we will talk about how first 15-days of February were for the MoreThanMarks team!
This newsletter is not just a progress report but also brings a smile to my face when I see what we have achieved in the last 15 days!

TL;DR
We have done 5+ school partnerships in the last 15 days.
Our paid bootcamps are running well.
Our retention rate has dropped in last 15-days as students are having their exams.
We have planned 4+ new bootcamps for school students this month.
We have conducted our first advisory board meeting.
What does MoreThanMarks do?
MTM provides skill learning to school students. We believe that each student should be equipped with the right skills to help them understand the right career prospects.

We truly believe that our students are our true metric. So, this graph tells us how MTM has expanded in the last 15-days.
Our Learnings
Don’t feel that you can’t until you have tried!
How we implemented this: Before my first interaction with 500+ students in a school, I was really scared. But internally I knew that I can do this. And now the school is onboarded!
If you and your team are working towards a common goal, there is no force that can defeat you!
How we implemented this: The whole team at MTM is working towards getting school conversions. From 2 schools in December, we have now 10+ schools in February who want skill training for their students!
How can you help us improve?
We run 5-days skill training bootcamps for school students, it would be awesome if you could connect us with some school principals directly.
What do we feel good about?
5 new schools in Sultanpur are already onboarded for our program.

We have scaled up from 40 happy students in June 2020 to 2500+ happy students in Feb 2022.
Students at “Zila Parishad School” who were nervous to use mouse and keyboard on the first day of class, are now able to use computer.
Two students at “Sharda Mata Vidyaashram” have got internships.
Ashwini, a student at “Sharda Mata Vidyashram” has completed her first month as a teacher at Pranav Kanya.
What are we freaked out about?
We planned to have 2 bootcamps in February last week but we were not able to get enough student payments.
Our engagement has dropped on Twitter.
Our sales team is trying hard through cold calling and cold mailing but the mails are hardly reaching the Principals.
Even after one month of free training bootcamps for working women, conversion to paid bootcamps was comparatively less.
I know it’s sad but we can do this together!
What’s next?
Successful completion of all the planned bootcamps
Establishing “learning pods” at all our centres
Taking ahead “Digital Literacy Program” in Delhi
Launching a “Poster making competition” for students all over India on “Women’s day”
